Automotive Glass Technician

An Automotive Glass Technician removes, installs, repairs and generally services all types of stationary and movable glass in motor vehicles and associated equipment.

Recommendations

The following education is recommended: Grade 10 or equivalent (Grade 12 preferred), including English 10, Math 10, Science 10.

 

The Apprenticeship Program comprises 3 weeks (90 hours) of full-time technical training. In addition, apprentices are required to accumulate 3,510 hours of work-based training. Program duration varies depending on how training is delivered, but generally takes 2 years to complete.
