Architectural/Structural CADD & Graphics

Vocational

This specialty 40-week full-time program at British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) offers training for a variety of applications in architecture, building construction and industrial applications, integrating Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD). This program applies drafting, computer applications, and graphic presentation with architectural and design skills used in the preparation of architectural projects and construction of buildings.

The Architectural/Structural CADD and Graphics Technician program offers two areas of specialization: 1) Architectural CADD and Graphics Technician; and 2) Structural CADD and Graphics Technician.

Quick Facts

  • Requirements:

    Math 11, plus two years of education in English with one of the following:

    1) English 12;
    2) Communications 12;
    3) three credits of post-secondary English, Humanities or Social Sciences.

    Applicants must indicate their area of specialization, either Architectural or Structural.
