Electronics Technician

The Electronics Technician Certificate program prepares you for a range of entry-level technical service positions through practical hands-on lab work, classroom-based lectures, group activities, reading assignments, and practice problems.

Students will learn how to:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and build analog and digital circuits;
  • Use multimeters, circuit testers, oscilloscopes, logic probes;
  • Use diagnostic equipment to locate circuit, component, and equipment faults;
  • Learn to adjust, install and repair complex systems while following equipment manuals.

Electronics training can open the door to a diverse range of careers in the rapidly growing world of high technology.

 

Applicants should possess good hand/eye coordination, good colour vision, manual dexterity, and be well organized.

 

Electronics Technician graduates may find a career with:
