Wind Turbine Maintenance

Students of the Wind Turbine Maintenance program explore the theory supporting wind turbines and the practical maintenance procedures required to maintain turbine output, with safe work practices emphasized throughout. Upon completion of the program, students are prepared to enter the field as Wind Turbine Technicians, or to progress to higher levels of certification in the industry.

Wind Turbine Maintenance Technicians can find employment in wind turbine maintenance, wind farm construction, turbine manufacturing, or blade inspection and repair. They can also specialize in inspecting or repairing wind turbine electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
