Computer Information (1st Yr) Sys. Admin

Vocational

The Computer Information Systems Administration (CISA) program at British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) is a 2-year program that consists of a common component in the 1st year and two distinct options for the 2nd year. Graduates receive a Diploma in either the Enterprise Systems Administration (ESA) or Network Systems Administration (NSA) option. Programs do not focus on design or engineering; rather the focus is on technical training.

The CISA program emphasizes a hands-on, technical approach to training, where experience gained in labs and classrooms can be applied directly to business and industry. Successful graduates will be qualified to work in industry as administrators of computer networks and server systems.
